Flagging messages?

I dont know if this has been suggested yet- but is it possible to have a flagging option for private emails and/or threads? Instead of just having new messages/ threads coming up on my homepage, could flagged messages stay at the top until I unflag them? I'm sure other people have the problem -- I will read an email/thread and have no time to reply and then totally forget it's there if no one else replies. That would help me not unintentionally ignore people. Thank you for considering it! Susanne

Or just an option to mark an email as "New" again so you can have it on the Home Page as a reminder to respond to it. I've missed replying to emails because I didn't have time at the moment and then didn't see it until I had another email message a couple of days later.

While I haven't used the email system here much, I definitely like that feature in other applications and personally would use the flagging of threads (even if only by marking as unread).

I often see some on my watch list that I can't address immediately but want to respond to a bit later... then I get distracted by another interesting thread and forget all about the first one... :)

This is a good feature request but at the moment I am extremely overloaded with higher priority items. If I don't get to this in a few weeks, would you bump it again?
