Where can I buy Dolomite Lime?

Pembroke Pines, FL(Zone 10a)

My source for dolomite lime is no more and local nurseries don't carry it. I really prefer it over regular garden lime because it doesn't burn and it is a slow release. My peppers and tomatoes love it. It also contains minerals and micro-nutrients. I was only able to purchase it in five pound boxes and would buy two or three at a time. Anyone know where I can buy some off the internet or from anyone?

I met a fellow in Idaho, who was starting to mine it in Montana-maybe the state listing of mines there would be of help.

I looked online and couldn't find any mailorder sources but you might try AM Leonard's.

And have you tried the "big box" chains (Lowe's, Home Depot?) Ours carries various forms of lime and gypsum with the fertilizer and soil amendment "stuff".

If they don't carry it, you might ask the center's manager if they can get some for you. Ditto for your local Farme'rs Co-op if you have them down there, or Tractor Supply Co. Our co-op is pretty good about getting oddball stuff in for me if I ask (sometimes persistently ;o)

You can try Lowe's and Home Depot... I got a box for about $4 at Lowe's.

Thanks Everyone! My stores don't carry it for some reason or another. Believe me , I've tried all local sources and I do mean all. However , thanks to your help on an e-mail, we found "Home Harvest" a mail order nursery for me but local for others as they have retail stores. A 5lb. box costs $2.50 plus shipping. Four(4)pks.would cost $10.00 + $12.00 shipping.
