What are the most viewed Forums?

Northern, IN

I'm just curious to know if there is a listing somewhere of the most viewed Forums or possibly just the top ten.

Pflugerville, TX(Zone 8b)

if you click on the daily newsletter email in your preference you get a nightly email that among other things lists the forums by the number of posts they had that day.

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

I would definitely say this is one of the top "threads"

Wow!

3 replies in 5 minutes. That's a record for me.

Thanks all.

I would guess that the brug forum is the most active

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

That's probably true, Joan. Dave ran some reports not too long ago so we could look at where most of the activity was occurring. And do you think I can remember what I did with his message or link? Sheesh. I'll see if I canf ind it. There wasn't anything really earth-shattering or surprising about the list, but it was interesting ;o)

Terry,

I'm still curious because the daily newsletter lists only the number of posts for each Forum and not the number of views.

I suspect that Pets for example which ranks high in posts may not rank high in views. The same might also apply to Photos.

No big deal, but if that's one of the things that Dave wanted to learn when he ran that report, it might be of some interest to DG ers (if it can be located).

Thanks.

Brugie,

That's from 2001. With the growth of DG, I'd imagine it's very different now.

Kind of like asking what's the most popular clothes teenagers are wearing, and pulling data from 1984.

Parachute pants for everyone.

Gosh....I've been reading that old thread and the others it links to for the last hour! I always enjoy taking a peek at the early DG! Thanks for the link, Brugie!

Brugie,
Thanks for showing that link. I was not a subscriber in 2001, so was not here when the transition to paying for DG took effect. I could not believe how many people were not willing to pay the $15 yr. Why we pay more than that to go the movies and get popcorn for one time...for two people. $15 yr is worth it for all the information, entertainment, fellowship that we get. I think it is a bargain. I know it's 3 years later, but I felt the need to throw in my "2 cents worth"... And Geez, Dave....you haven't raised your price in 3 years. how wonderful. :) [i am not encouraging that folks!] :)
