I completely overlooked your response. Forgive me...it was not my intension to be rude.

I have the snailvine but it was sold to me as Corkscrew Vine
Vigna caracalla. I have been wanting the corkscrew for a long time but since they are constantly sold underboth names I have not managed to get my hands on it.

Here's a photo of what I have and have sent out to everyone *snail vine.

I am interested in trading for the real Corkscrew Vine if anyone has it.

I would be glad to send you some for postage if you want. I've been trying to send out cutting with some roots on them since the vine is all over the grass it has started to root in place. So your chances of getting this to start are very high. Or I can send you some seeds if I get any.


This is the first year to grow this plant. I don't know if I AM going to get any seeds. I keep looking after the blooms. I see these curly pods (there is one to the right of bloom) on the vine but I'm not sure it this is the bud or a seed pod.

Does anyone know?

Oh my goodness,, I forgot about this thread. I still want the choc. and snail vine. Its been along road to recovery for me since my surgery and being in a wheelchair. The pain meds I was on and still am from time to time are great, but dont do much for the memory. Please, I still want these.
