"Pan Pots" Where to find?

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

I'm looking for pan pots (shallow pots ideal for trailing episcia, african violets) but I'm having a difficult time finding them and it make it even more difficult, I'm looking for a decorative large one for a combo planting.

I just thought I'd try and see if anyone would know of a place that's selling them. Thanks!

I've never heard of pan pots. Are they like azalea pots or even shallower like a bonsai dish?

Pretty shallow, maybe between an azalea pot and a bonsai dish.

CaptMicha,

Are you looking for terracotta pots? If so, Arizona Pottery offers some: http://www.arizonapottery.com/item.asp?iid=1677

Teas Nursery offers some plastic ones: http://www.teasnursery.com/page4.html

Dan's Garden Shop offers some Kord pans: http://dansgardenshop.com/kortrad6inpa.html (and he's in Adamstown, MD!)

If you're buying in bulk.... http://www.goodiestore.com/claypots.htm

And here are some other sources (it just took me a while to come up with "bulb pan" which seems to be the correct term for them):

P.S., If you'd like, this term and a defintion would make a great addition to Garden Terms especially if you can provide a picture ;o)

(Edited for a mixedup link ;o)

Bulb pan is probably the word but I just can't find any decorative ones like I'm looking for.

So.... I'm going to make my own! I bought some clay today (boy is it expensive) and I'll make a specialty one that'll be unglazed at the bottom so I can bottom water like african violet pots.

Thanks for everyone's help!
