sue
Thanks all, I'll let you know when the "check is in the mail" LOL, but I am really flattered. Thanks to DG, who knows???
That's neat, Candee - Congrats!
Congrats on getting published and the gorgeous flower!
Wow Candee, that must have been a facinating experience. Congrats to you.
Donna
Wonderful accomplishment, Haighr!
Thanks everyone. I got an email from Terry a few months ago saying she had been contacted through DG inquiring about these photos and so I contacted Holden and after a few questions of my own, I gave them permission to publish them. I am quite pleased at the outcome.

Congrats Candee!!! That is the neatest news ive seen all week.
Thanks Nancy, I am quite pleased with this achievement. I said to Steve, when was the last time you look in a publication or magazine and recognized a name LOL! Need to stop patting myself on the back as my shoulder is getting sore! LOL
Congratulations, haighr! They're beautiful images and I'm glad it all worked out for the publishers to use them ;o)
Terry
Way to go girl!! The hellebores is a beauty. Brenda
Thanks Terry for forwarding the opportunity, thanks Brenda they sure look pretty against the snow and ice, think I'll keep them a few more years!
haighr, congratulations on being published. Loved the dark purple one. I have several sort of purplish hellebores but none as pretty and dark as that one. Donna
Haighr, nice things happen to good people, often with the help of other good people... of course, it helps to be talented, too! Just think of all the hellebores folks will be growing because you inspired them!
Thanks Donna and Weez, I hadn't thought of it that way, hummmmmmmmm, most of what I have in my gardens is due to a post of a pic at DG or something I saw in a catalog, so you may be right! Could have just helped the helleborus community a bit. Donna, I really like the maroon/purple/wine colored ones also, they really stand out.
Candee, that is splendid!!! way to go girl!!!
I love helleborus
I laughed with a friend yesterday because I told the Arboretum that they had to keep my hand in the pic and not crop it out LOL! Thinking perhaps I could get a hand lotion gig out of it LOL! You know, "hands soft enough for a delicate flower"!
We laughed so hard my belly hurt, but they kept my wedding band finger in the pic!
Thanks pebble, of all the flower pics I have taken over the years, these would have been the last ones I'd have thought anyone was interested in. I believe the fact there is snow and ice around the plants was the "draw".
I'm not sure what impresses me the most. The flowers, the picture, your obvious delight and modesty or the response of the other posters. Congratulations. Jessamine
Awesome to have your photographs published! Way to go!
Congrats! Very nice photos of both the flower and your nails!
LOL, thanks all - Nancy you are too funny!
I am delighted thank you, gave a copy to the kids this weekend and asked if they wanted my autograph??? No takers LOL!
And, dopey me, I changed the earlier post to thank Terry (She) think I would know by now everyones gender, but guess not!
