ROYAL RESIDENCE

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Some of you have asked me to post some photos of the houses that I am selling here.
This is a two bedroom/2 bath villa, 2 terraces, and a roof top terrace. swimming pool, tennis court, market and cafe on site, oh yeah, and a childrens play area. This is where I am buying one......
And I have been very selective of who I sell to, cause you all know I have teen age kids......

Here is the pool....
and I forgot to say that you can add a third bedroom/bath combo on for an additional 6,000 pounds, which is roughly 10,000 US dollars.
most of our houses are sold in Sterling or Euro...so I am forever converting, then I will get the odd ball who will ask for the price in Dollar, or better yet in Turkish lira, which in Lira, it the price is in the billions, liras that is......

Oh wow Pebbles that is gorgeous!!!!! How do the prices compare to like homes here in the states?

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

well, these are about 110,000 dollars and up

I would think with the view and pool and all included that doesn't sound like a terrible amount to pay for one. In fact in many areas of the US that would be a steal. TY for answering my curious question.

pebble, looks very attractive. I am not sure are you staying in Turkey for some time. Do you speak the language now. Donna

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

BEAUTIFUL! I would LOVE a house in Turkey. Would I get a discount for knowing you on here ;)

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Sure, CaptMicha, why not....
Rutholive, I already spoke the language, I was born and raised here to American parents, moved to the States, found a Turk married him, came back after 20 some odd years......

How about we all get together and buy one.....let's see if there are 300 members that want in on it, that would be what??? about 350 dollars each......
wouldnt that be funny???? we could have a "dave's house"
course if everyone lived in England, it would be easier to get here and cheaper too......

oh well...it's a fun thought

I don't think we could fit all 300 plus their families into three bedrooms. It would be like fitting 25 college students into a Volkswagon. Fun but not very practical. :~}
