Dave's Garden limits....

Ok folks, I simply MUST put a limit on myself! (see what time it is on my post?-could not sleep) I have been on DG so much at work that when the phone rings for work related reasons I get irritated... My work is not getting done either!! Anyway, I have been with my company 9 years and they trust me so I feel really guilty! I am on DG literally all day.

I am only going to get on DG first thing in the AM and then a bit at lunch REALLY. I should stay off all together but I will take my chances..

My DH said, "UH, why do you have to post that? Won't they know when you don't answer?" - Well he just doesn't understand! I may still be a Newbie but I talk to people more on here than in real life! LOL That's all!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've heard that before. In fact I've even said it myself a few times. *grin*. I have come to the conclusion that good intentions just don't cut it, I'm afraid it's going to take deep behavior therapy for me! LOL

... look at the times on my postings, but I made it for what? 90 minutes? Just like quitting smoking, stretch it out between times, then stop altogether, or was I suppose to go "cold turkey" then allow myself a moderate amount. lol lol lol

Maybe Dave could program an "access limit" function which we set our own time limits, or access time, like 10 minutes allowed at 10,2 & 4.... lol lol lol

Yesterday I didn't log in until after 11:30 am - I was SO proud! (Of course, once I got on...)

Ha! Here I am at noon as promised! I have been having the 'DT's' all morning though!! I just feel like something's wrong!

Guess I will just have to keep getting up at 3AM before work to keep abreast of things. Yeah right!!!

Wish me luck all! I do want to keep my job! My DH is not helping with the gardening thing though.. He is in the process of scoping out 2 different used greenhouses that we can get for cheap! He thought it up all by himself too! Keep you posted! :-)

What a wonderful hubby you have. My DH would never encourage my habit like that. He knows that if I had a greenhouse, I would have room for more plants, which means I would spend more money. Ü

Hey - last night my DH also brought me 2 banana trees! One is 4 ft. and one is 2ft. His boss was sick of them.. I am hoping to keep them as houseplants for the winter!

This gardening thing is just growing and growing and GROWING...

This morning I volunteered with the Ext Office for 3 different things too!

ONE more thing - Tues morning my son 2 1/2 crawled in bed with me with his gardening boots I bought him. He said, "I been gardening mommy!" Way to make momma proud! Gosh I have had too much caffeine to compensate for the lack of sleep - I am just all over the place today! LOL

hee hee! I actually did take a sleeping pill last night and went to bed at 8:30! Boy do I feel better! Ok, it's not 'officially' lunch yet but....

I spent my whole hour drive in this morning trying to figure out where I am going to put all the plants I have coming to me in trades--YAAA!

I'm legal - vacation day! I took 2 kitties to the vet and the dog to the "beauty parlor" this morning. Now I'm "checking in", then it's outside to mow and rake! I'm starting a compost pile today! Does life get any better than this. (Geez - if I'd heard myself say that 4 years ago I'd've asked someone to have me committed!!)

Arrgghhh!! :--) Enough Nascar already! lol My DH worked in it for 13 yrs or so and I get my fill thanks!!! Hee hee.. It's nothing against Nascar, I am just not the sports fan in general! Yes, Dale Earnhardt -I may regret posting this by my father-in-law is friends with his mom. Not close but I know he visits her from time to time..

Anyway, I need to clean my house!!! :--(((( It's been neglected like many other things since joining DG!
