Found a spoof garden catalog, thought I'd share

Cleveland, OH

I was doing a bit of gardening online and looking for new sources and ran across this spoof. It looks to be from about 2000 and I would say NOT politically correct. I found it quite humorous perhaps you will as well.

Looks hilarious bogman, will read it through later at home.

Spring Hill, FL(Zone 9a)

I'm pretty sure I've ordered from those folks. Did it used to be Michigan Bulb Company?

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

ditto

Payneville, KY(Zone 7a)

That was too much. I don't think I'll be asking Marie for a cuticle reduction anytime in the near future. :) And t heir closing about the emus had me rolling. Thanks for sharing, Bogman....

Hampstead, NC(Zone 8a)

Wish I could read it, but came up much too dark. Would any of you be kind enough to send it to me direct? Maybe that way I could view it. I really love a good goof.

Northport, ME(Zone 5b)

Hah! Funny stuff.(NOT PC) Some, maybe X rated. Actually I guess you can't do that with just words these days. Used to be an aduterous relationship would get a book BANNED IN BOSTON. Now it's "Hey, my daddy's my brother too" Frank

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Read it through, had some good laughs, Don't think I will be ordering from them, they probably got their start with Michigan Bulb people, as kikisdad said. Donna

Castro Valley, CA(Zone 9a)

I've sent this on to friends, LOL, but not too many I know relate to plants and especially their names, oh well, thanks for sharing this one. Good to be laughing out loud to yourself, the dog looked at me like what did I do!

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Agapanthus, look in TOOLS > OPTIONS (or PREFERENCES) on your browser's menu. There should be a spot there where you can override the colors and choose how you want to view the webpage. LMK if you need specifics - just tell me what browser you're using. :)

Gardena, CA

That was real good. It obviously took a master gardener with a sense of humor to create that one. Can't wait for the new catalog to come out.

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

hah! What a fun read!

Acer palmatum 'Ara-beni-sango-nogumo-yezo-shidare-kaku'....hehehe, now just WHO would write something like that!? ;>)

Hilarious!

Payneville, KY(Zone 7a)

I had tears in my eyes and would love to find out who the real author is :)

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

There are all kinds of links on that guy's site, too. Go up one level, to http://members.tripod.com/~Hatch_L/ Looks like he needs to add the Plants Database! ;)

Lexington, VA(Zone 6a)

Thanks for the post, bogman! Hilarious!! Already forwarded to my gardening friends and husband is in AOL chatroom posting quotes from site - they're having a great time with it! Added it to my favorites so when I need a good laugh.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

This was great, I actually earmarked it.....love it, I was sitting at work reading this and just guffawing....It's one of those things you want to share with someone, but no one here speaks english to understand the humour of it....

Rocky Mount, VA(Zone 7a)

Most excellent LOL
