Deleting e-mails

Is it possible for us to delete our e-mails when they are no longer active. Or at least to get them to the old e-mail list? Mine's getting very cumbersome.

Dave's reply when this came up previously, and that makes sense:
"Just as you can't delete threads, you also cannot delete emails to members. Remember that the email is like a wormhole: it's attached to two parties and if you deleted an e-mail you sent to someone, you would be deleting something that belongs to them."

Ah, quite true. It would be nice to be able to move them to an archive of sorts, though. Could we perhaps have "active" and "archived" e-mails and be able to move our own e-mail threads between those two catergories?

I'm not sure, but that probably has to be compartmentalized because it was generated differently in the coding.
