Guess Who's Baaaack.

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Ginger!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ((((((((((((((((Hugs!!!!)))))))))))))))))

:-P Yes, it's tsavo!
Everyone put the booze away and hide the candy! The party is over! Muhhhahhahaha! Missed you guys a whole lot since going Awol. :-( But, now I have a new yard to fill full of flowers! It's great- we just bought a place here in Crossville- (Do I see me going to visit some local Crossville DGers anytime soon? - hehhe- I sure hope so!) it even has a seasonal creek in the back yard. Heheheh. No fish that I can see though. :-( Oh well, there's always the river. :-)
Guess what kind of job I took up- I'm a roofer now! LOL Won't be long and I'll look like a man. *Flexes*
Man, moving sucks- but the end result is well worth it. K, Imma check some threads and catch up on things. (((Hugs!))) Buhhahhahhhahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

YAY, are you back to stay or are you gonna up and leave again? We need pics of the new place, I wanna see.
Congratulations on the new place, boy are you gonna have fun digging.

I remmeber doing roofing for a short time. I had a blast. You go Girl!!

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Weeeeeeeeeeee................... Nah- I should be here to stay. Pray , LOL!
Roofing is alot of fun- as long as you don't hit the ground,LOL! Swinging my leg over the ladder from the top of the house scares me- but once I'm on it I do okay. Were also doing gutter guards, yard work-etc. A little bit of everything.

Thanks. XoXoxoooooooo

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

Yeah - want to see the new pics too and the seasonal creek! Hey draven, think we can get her up to the cabin to finish off the other side of the A-frame roof?

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

Cool, that means you wont get bored by repetition. I was always afraid to get down off the realy tall houses by myself. I always needed somone at the bottom of the ladder until I got both feet on it, but I could get up and run around up three without a problem. Go figure. LOL

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

Now thats an idea, does she need to come now or can she wait until the RU, heehee.

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

In order to save 2 trips, perhaps she could just arrive a day or two early and then there would be time for her to enjoy the RU LOL!

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

LOL! Oh dear! Well, Mark (mah boss) said I get commission for every customer I draw in... buhahhahaha. Stripping the shingles sucks badly- ugh, hehe. When we are working we have men from other jobs that try and do our work. It's great! LOL Man I wanna go to the RU- :-D

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

Nothing to strip. We covered one side with those tin or metal sheets from Lowes and now need the other side of the A-frame covered. See cut your work in half already!!!

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

We are so happy to see you back Crimson! :D

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Oolallaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Haig!!! Were supposed to be doing an A-frame sometime in the near future- not sure if Mark will let me on one though- way too steep. As long as I'm tied to it I guess? LOL Man, all the works been done then- chalking and laying the tar paper/shingles is the easy part.

Thanks Lily- it's GREAT to be back! (((Hugs to you all))))

Archer/Bronson, FL(Zone 8b)

Great to see you back Crims, I was just thinking about you this morning wondering where the devil you had gone off to.

Glad to see you back.

And guess what, you remember that Magnolia tree you sent me? I found a place for it. In the middle of 5 acres up by Archer, Fl.

Good to see you again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(((((HUGS)))))))))

Welcome home to DG Jocie. I've missed your posts.
Where are those beautiful dogs of yours or is that a hurtful topic?
So you've bought a house - least now you can put your own roof on when need be. Do you work with steel as well as shingles? At the end of the day you must be exhausted - but not too tired to stop in for a visit.
D

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Thanks alot! Great to be back. XoXoXooooo

Too sad to talk about Dolly and Tez.

Yeah, at the end of the day you are exausted- but it's worth it. :-) I havent done metal yet- just shingles. Will do them if I have to though!

Verona, ON

Understood!!! I know how much you loved them but sometimes we have to do what we have to do in order to keep going.
Glad you are getting a kick out of your job - just remember to keep that safety rope good and tight.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Hey, Tsavo! You've been missed, girl.

Roofing, huh? Wow! I like heights, myself, but I don't trust my ankles to be up on a roof, LOL. Our roof was just replaced by our homeowner's insurance - we went from gray/green to brown. What a welcome change.

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Brown is a nice color. The ones we just did are a reddish brown color. Really nice. :-D So many roofs- so little time. :-D

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Owens Corning "Desert Tan" is what we put up there. It really brings out the warmth in the house, especially the stone in the front. It's amazing what that one change can do!

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

I know you're right GW- even a tiny change can make everything better!

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

((((((((HUGS)))))))) right back at ya Jocelyn! Didn't see this thread till just now,but saw your post in Pets. Gotta figure out who to go to the FLRU with next year if there is one. LOL If we can find a dog sitter, maybe I'll drag Bill along....yeah right! Hi to your Mum...great to have you back online.

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

((hugs)) Much love Gins!
Hopefully we'll be able to make it to the Fl RU too!

Maben, MS(Zone 7b)

Welcome back, it is always good when a member of the family that has been AWOL makes it back.

Crimson, so glad you are back. I was gone for a week (only). If there is sad news about your wolf/dogs someplace else can somebody hyperlink it . I only have good dog news. (see Pets) You will never make it as a man. You care too much about animals and peoples feelings. There is nothing wrong with being female. I prefer thier company over the alternative. I prefer dogs over most people.
