The new logo in the address line :)

Frederick, MD(Zone 6a)

I just noticed, when I clicked on "forums" that my address line showed the flower logo :)

Anyone else see this?

Do you mean the "Forums" tab at the top? If so, mine did not.

Maybe dave can answer this. If I give the hyper-link it just takes you there, so that is no help.

Typically, if one would type in davesgarden.com, it'll come up with the normal http line. However, when I'm in DG and click on 'forums' there is the logo to the left of the http :) I like it alot; it's so pretty, but have no idea when it started. Maybe because I use Microsoft ?

I dunno. Just now I started Microsoft's IE and it doesn't do that for me. I do see a lot of those logos though in the address line, just not DG. Of course, being a Mac user, I'm always surprised when new things show up.

edited to add: I have a little 5 pointed green star before the http...

I just get the internet explorer logo in front of my http. Maybe it's the browser version you are using.

Frederick, MD(Zone 6a)

It only comes up when I click on 'forums' for the first time. If I view a thread, it goes back to the internet logo :(

Well, I should and am happy I get it once! :)

I think it may only work on Firefox. I haven't gone to IE to see if works on that yet.

Edited to add I just went to IE and it doesn't show up on it.

It shows for me- Mac in Firefox.

Yahoo weather has their stylized Y at the beginning of their URL. So Dave has put his flower at the beginning of his. I wonder how one does that. Maybe Dave will enlighten us.

Manhattan Beach, CA(Zone 11)

Even Yahoo Weather shows only the blue e on mine.
(Who needed to know that anyway? LOL)

I have the flower also.. Every web site I visit has a different one. I think they are neat..

Are you talking about the link to Dave's Garden that you have saved in your favorites folder?

The multi-colored flower shows up on all of the links that I have saved for Dave's Garden. The flower is always there when I go into my favorites.

Edited:
OK, I went into Foxfire and I see the flower in the URL address line. I went into one of the forums and the flower remained in the URL address line. That's pretty cool. The flower doesn't show in the URL address line when I use IE, however.
