It's a normal occurance...happens more often than you think....and no, you haven't been nuked.

Happens to peppers and tomatoes ..I get several every summer...and have seen this at the supermarket too. No big deal.

I was wondering cus if the peppers inside are green I was thinking sunshine must shine thru the red pepper, offering chlorophyll (to turn them green).
