Antigonon leptopus-coral vine
It will form seed pods. Collect the seeds and sow with the pointy-side down.
Germinates in several days.
Gorgeous vine. It forms tuberous roots and is a perennial in warmer zones.

thank you so much - so the common name is coral vine?
please prdon my ignornce - I am 'green' when it comes to gardening, taking care of and propogating plants.
How big are the seeds? I assume the seed pods will remain on the vine and should picked ?

Amazing what a little reading can do.. I searched for coral vine - and found what I needed...
I think half the time I am just so excited about sharing this new found appreciation for gardening with other who share the joy... And I tend to ramble on.. (like I am doing now)
