I can't view any of the garden contest photos-is something wrong with my computer or is it too early to view them now??

The way it works , is that everyone gets to view the photos and vote at the same time. So, there's nothing wrong with your computer...it's just the most fair way of letting everyone judge.

Imagine a regular photo contest in a gallery...you only get to 'judge' when the doors are open and everything is set up. This makes it fair to the early birds and late arrivals alike.
