Dave's XXX

Albany, MO(Zone 5a)

Dave, my internet provider separates my emails by removing the junk, x rated, suspected viruses, etc, to a different site and every now and then I have to go to this site so I can delete the emails, or have them sent on to my outlook express. Well, Dave's Garden for Sept 6th ended up in there as being sexually orientated. I almost fell over when I saw that. I had it sent on to my regular email and went over what was there at face value and I could find nothing that might indicate any sort of sexually stuff. Wonder what the deal was/is?

Mine does the same thing every now and again.......I have alwasy just assumed it was glitch with my server.

Moss Rose, you would be surprised what can come up when you Google for plant cultivars.......I just hate that! But, if I set my computer to higher security levels, then there would be way too much I couldn't access when I need it. It's not DG....it's the search engines, and maybe a nimble fingered typist, too!

You should contact your ISP and have them get that bug in their system fixed. Obviously their software doesn't work since it is incorrectly seeing a gardening newsletter as spam (or whatever)

Mine did that to mine at first (when my server first got the spam blocker thingy)...then when it saw that it came daily, it let it pass...or something like that. LOL Jo

Dave, I've already contacted them and they haven't a clue how the newsletter got there. They assured me they would look for a glitch.

My newsletter always got thrown into the spam filter, so I finally just stopped itfrom coming. My ISP said their filter put it there because it was a mass mailing and their system is set up to filter out mass mailings. They said there was really no way for them to correct it.

Who do you use for mail JoanJ? I use yahoo and they put into the spam can once. I checked "This is not spam" and never had another problem.

I use our one and only local internet provider because that's the only way I can get internet service without having to dial a long distance call each time we connect. We only have dial up available in the area where I live (rural).

We do have DSL here at the office though, but a different provider. All the emails that come into the office from our computer programmer get stuck in the spam filter because that also is a mass mailing.
