travel trailers-Bolers (sp?)

south central, WI(Zone 5a)

Looking to -maybe-hopefully-fingers crossed-be able to do some traveling next year. Flying is a bit painful-so driving may be in store.
Saw a photo and heard a bit about little round trailor-made in Canada-called the Boler ?
Looked to be the size (tiny) that I could manage on the back of my car.
Any one know about these-are they good? Where can I get a good one? Do I have to sell my garden for one?? (LOL--no chance!)

Hi Marcia,
I don't know anything about the camper you mentioned. but a while back I did do some research about these: http://www.scamptrailers.com/ they are much closer to you than Canada. The smallest Scamp can be pulled with a car. They are excellent campers. Very well made.

Marcia, I have some friends who have a Scamp trailer and they love it. They say it is quite stable on the road being pulled by their car. We named it "Duck" because you have to duck to get in the door without cracking a head but other than that it is quite handy. Good luck on your search. I can hardly wait till you get here to Idaho.

Marcia, I forgot to tell you that they got theirs used from a newspaper ad. The people who owned it had had a baby and needed more room. I don't think it broke the bank too far and it seats all five of us when it is raining outside.

Lisa and Lani, thanks for the info. I will check out the Scamp..UM--ducking might not be a problem , I will never see 5 foot again!!

These are what you're talking about - fiberglas egg-shaped trailers, right?

My mom considered getting a little Burro camper from U-Haul back in the 80's when the local one went out of the camper rental business and sold them off.
