Payneville, KY(Zone 7a)

I was at Walmart in Corydon, IN last week and noticed the same thing. I turned to my daughter and asked what happened to Halloween and Thanksgiving! Makes me not want Christmas to come around. I loved it when they had their own times/seasons!!! and you could concentrate on one thing at a time. I've never been one to shop all year long for Christmas. I make my list and go! If it's on sale, then that's good for me, if not, well then tough luck for me LOL

Today at Walmart, there was to elderly ladies working the garden center, when I went to buy several bags of the 2 cu,ft. potting soil.
It rained lastnite,so the bags were soggy wet and very heavy, and they were way back under the fenced area,so I asked one lady for some help, and she left to get some one, waited and waited, she never returned,so I went and got one of those flatbed carts and loaded them myself, then went inside to pay, running the cash register was a young guy twice my size, told him what I was buying he rang them up,I paid for them.asked if he could help load them in my truck, said he couldn't leave the cash register, but would send someone out to help, never showed up!!What does it say on the back of there vest?
How may I help you???
This is a new store, the old store they tore down that was right next door, never once did I ever ask for help, they always offered too!
I did notice these were all new people, none of the same people that worked at the old store,do they always hire new help when opening a new store?

Tropicman:
I'm a landscape designer. I could talk forever on this subject. When I go, I buy three carts full, and still can't get help. Used to work for Home Depot. They just don't hire enough people.
We can complain, but I doubt it will change as long as we keep going there and giving them our money. Where did we go before they came?

Hi Jay,
We went to the local small hardware store, and usually his son, loaded the truck. Its the same at Lowes and home depot,I always to the getting and fetching and loading, they never even offer anymore, usually theres the one girl running the cash register, and thats about all I ever see anymore.
I wonder where the personal service has gone to??
I wonder who will be next when Lowes and home depot are not popular anymore?
