I often look through the photos in the PDB Photo Forum and wish that there was a link back from that photo thread to the PDB entry of the plant - or have I missed it?
I think this would be a very helpful feature if it's possible - and assuming it isn't already there LOL

I tried that but it didn't work - wasn't clickable in the thread I had. Will go back and have another look. Perhaps it was just a fault on that one thread, or maybe my brain wasn't working.... lol

Older images in the PDB show some evolution of the PDB.

The very oldest images do not have an associated discussion thread. Dave implemented that feature quite a while back to encourage people to post their plant images to the PDB instead of the photos forum (the main argument was that they wanted to be able to discuss the image and didn't want to submit it twice.)

Then Dave realized that having a link back to the entry would make the discussion threads even more useful, so he quickly implemented that improvement. But there are images that lack an accompanying thread, and a few threads that have no link back to the entry ;o)
