I turn 45 today, and this year it falls on Labor Day just as it did in 1960. I plan to celebrate by canning my first batch of salsa for the season... the tomato plants are going bonkers in the veggie garden! The 25 pounds shown here don't include what I already prepared for the salsa, so I might be doing a bit more than one batch. :)

My sister's birthday is today.

My fourth daughter was born on the sixth, which was Labor Day six years ago. I joked only I could be in labor on Labor Day. LOL

I am having a great birthday! My son in law's was yesterday...mine today...and oldest DD will turn 50 next week end...but Over The Hill party coming up.

Me, both DD's and SIL's and grandson went to our favoirtie place for dinner last night....Johnny CArinno's...of course I had Cannoli's for dessert. We ALL plan on going on a diet...right after DD's party.

Also, the kids got me a VERY NICE toaster Oven...it has a bow front and can bake a frozen 12" pizza...I won't have to use my oven very much any more.

What a birthday I had...I ate too much (what else is new?) got to swim with my grandson, and my little great granddaughter, plus the 2 DD's. Then youngest DD invited me for dinner last night...life is GOOD!
