dont cha just love neighbors

Jackson, SC(Zone 8a)

I was outside this morning rushing back to the hospital. daughter has tonsil infection and they want to take them out but not with her being so sick.

anyway a little green lizard decided he was going to jump on me. no biggy but he got in my hair. i have long blondish brown hair. so here i am doing this little jig teying to get the critter off my back and out of my hair.

my neighbor sees me doing this and comes over and and asks having problems?? i reply yes i have a lizard in my hair can you help get it out. then she starts laughing. i am still trying to get the little guy out my hair and get bak on the road.

well after her laughing fit we did manage to get the little guy out of my hair safely me minus a few hairs in the process.

gotta love your neighbors at times. heheh back to the hospital . come home to eat and change clothes. hugs all Marie

What a picture! That's funny - sounds like something I'd do (both getting a lizard in my hair and laughing).

What a visual!!!!! Gotta love the lizards!!

i love them too but once in the hair its a different story. mine is most of the way down my back so its a jungle to a lizard. he being able to blend also doesnt help.

laughing at it today. yesterday just glad he was out of my hair. now i know the meaning to that phrase. lol

This reminds me of a funny that happened to me-and it was not real funny at the time!

I was on the phone talking to my great aunt while sitting on the deck. My elderly neighbor was out in her back yard too. Out of nowhere I feel 'rain drops' that travel right up one le, up my trunk and head then no more. So I get to looking around and realize a bird flew over and left a trail of number 1 and 2 all over me. About then I scream "A bird pooped on me"! Well my great aunt is on the phone laughing hysterically and my elderly neighbor yells over the fence "Aren't you glad cows don't fly?!". This makes my aunt laugh harder and at that point I had no choice but to laugh. Then I went in for a shower!

Badseed .. you're right .. your incident and your tale .. and that happenin' to you .. is not funny, at all ...

... NOT !!!!! ... It is too - - and very funny !!!

LOL... I can only imagine that your grt Aunt didn't dare let you live that one down either !!!
Nor, the elder neighbor lady either, for that matter!!! .. LOL .. I can so easily put myself in either of
their shoes in my picturing this scene ... Glad you were moved to surrender to good spirits to break
out in laughter .. !! Bless your heart tho' .. that just had to have been the utter pits! .. LOL ..
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
imzadi .. I'm just so glad that you were able to quickly 'know' .. just what it was, that had jumped and
landed on you!!! ... LOL .. For if it'd been a wasp or hornet - it'd been stinging the dickens out of ya
each time you and your neighbor .. tried to pick at it, and untangle it from your hair ... on your head
and your hands.

Yep, neighbor folks can be quite a handy dandy little item to have out and about ... or just happen
to be peekin' your way! .. Especially in time of need! .. LOL ..
