How about a newbie primer

I've been reading the "Oh Lucky Me" thread and everyone seems to agree that there is a need to protect the newbies here. I myself, even thou here over a year, am VERY "newbie" still. I was very impressed with alot of "signs" to be wary of that some of the veteran DGers pointed out that I probably wouldn't have thought of.

Have ya ever went to the "weekly meetings" were alot gets said but, nothing gets resolved ? I think this would be a benefit to the site.

The only negative I could see would be if not worded carefully may intimidate some newbies and I would not want to see that happen because It's the best site to be on.

Sooo Whattayathink ?

Getting the word out about the various FAQ's located at the different tabs would be a good start. They address a lot of things. What does the new member and/or subscriber welcome letter say?

After going back and reading both the welcome page, (which does refer the newbies to the trading primer) and the trading primer...I also agree that maybe just an additional catagory in the primer may be a good idea like....#9 "Things to watch out for" ..... or "Caution"
