um...maybe this is a stupid question, but....

On the Member Page under contributions/plant database, there is a category "Options". What the heck are options (in this context LOL)?

There is never a stupid question. The options are the details you mark off like the height, zone, color etc. Hope that helps.

In the PDB, there are options for plant characteristics that can be added to depending on how it grows for your zone. If you add an option to say, height, spacing, hardiness, sun exposure, etc, then you get a number for everything you add.

Example here http://davesgarden.com/pdb/go/2400/index.html has been pretty filled up but you can click on Report and Error if you wanted to add how to collect seeds or any other details you might know.

Oh...duh....I should have figured that out myself since I've spent the better part of the evening (now into the night for me) adding new pics and plants to the PDB. LOL Thanks Mystic and Daisy.

Why not just call it PDB details?

That is pretty simple and clear! LOL

"Additional Details"

'Characteristics', 'Attributes', 'Particulars', 'Facts about this Plant', or 'Everything you ever wanted to know about this plant but were afraid to ask' certainly should do the trick.

LOL I honestly didn't mean to open a can of worms here. But since it's opened, I vote for Mystic's suggestion of PDB details or Ulrich's characteristics. :-)
