We did it this morning, bought the package, suppose to be eye exercizes that you do that in time will completely relieve you of glasses. We're hoping for the best here, got a 30 day free trial, she said we'd notice improve ments in l week even with a strong perscription as mine. I'm about to have to go to bifocals, and she said I wouldn't have to, that the fuzziness i'm having hard time focusing, is all age related. (4l) and I would see a diff in one week. I will keep you guys up to date. this should be interesting, All four of us can use this program, all of us have strong perscriptions. So it will save a ton of money on eye exams and glasses in the long run, it wasn't as expensive as I thought it was. But expensive enough, for eye exercizes LOl
wish us luck

I just bought the see clearly package
Interesting concept. I have often wondered about it. Can you over excercise the eye...... eye strain. Under excersize.... Lazy eye. Or was momma right.... if you cross your eyes they will stay that way.
Let us know what happens!
I will let you know, how it goes. She did mention, that they can help the lazy eye, my neice had a lazy eye, had to have eye surgery for it. They said just simple exercises help it. I'm not sure if you can over exercise the eye.
i'm excited though about the concept of not having to buy glasses after a while.

I'm all ears about your eyes. I've seen those commercials and wondered if that system has any merit, but never looked up any information on it until your mention today. It'll be great getting a first-hand report from someone we know!
By the way, this seemed to be a pretty well-balanced article on it: http://www.allaboutvision.com/buysmart/see_clearly.htm

I worked in an optometrist's office for about 6yrs and I gave "visual Therapy" to children who were having problems in school. The sessions were expensive, and not covered by insurance, but the results were fantastic. It was really rewarding to see these kids progress in 6 mo's of therapy. I kept in touch with their teachers and parents and the younger they were, the better the results. I, my self, had focusing problems and I did some of the excercises and saw improvement with my own vision and now I do the "find a word" in the morning newspaper everyday to keep the ability to focus clearly. I hope they are all you hope they will be. I know there will be improvement , but how much is always the variable. I will be interestd to follow you progress. Lou
I'll keep everybody posted on our progress, we have charts we're suppose to do our own eye exam each week to see our progress which is nice, Of course, I won't get the package till next week, since we just ordered it today. But I'll be back,

I was also wondering about this and had wanted to see how it worked on someone before I put out a lot of cash. Glad we found a guinea pig ......LOL
;o)

I just went to bi-focals this last visit. I have wondered also about will be anxious to see the results .
Yes, I'm badly in need of bifocals, I can't focus on things either, signs when i'm driving, tv. etc. and hubby, hasn't found a pair of glasses in 5 years, that he's happy with, and just recently has went to bifocals which he hates. We're at that age I guess. LOL I'm glad to be a guinee pig for yall LOL. someone has to. I'm so hoping that this will help us. We haven't got the package in yet. so hang in there, We all have to give ourselves eye exams first off. then off to the exercizes, Which I probably won't explain what they are, because I dont' want to get into trouble. I'll just let you know the progress of how it's going and if it's working or not. Can you imagine all the glasses on 4 people that we won't have to get. And seeing clearly! I'm excited about this. We have a 30 day trial basis, before they start charging my credit card. They said we'd see a diff in 30 days for sure. we'll see

I just looked at GW's link and the exercises they illustrate reminds me of the ones that can be found in an old book I probably still have - "Sight without Glasses".
Where's the GW link at? Yeah, this exercize stuff has been around for years probably, someone just decided to put it all in one video and sell it LOL It might be more detailed than one would know about though.

I hear ya. I just went to the eye doctor's today and got a new prescription and frames. My prescription actually got better (she said it's not unusual...it's age. Waaaah).
I kept expecting my nearsightedness that I had from age 4 to hit a midpoint somewhere along the way to old age, when you progress to farsightedness, and have a few moments of perfect vision. ha. It didn't happen. In my fifties when my optometrist could no longer correct my vision with any lens, I went to an opthalmologist, who then sent me to the Eye Institute at our local medical college. They diagnosed "refractory cataracts" which aren't a condition of age and they may have developed over a long period of time. Normal cataracts are clouded over the lens of the eye, these rare refractory cataracts are like lines on crazed china ( crazed being an adjective frequently applied to me by my family) so they don't totally obscure your vision but really mess it up. Got to be a shining example for the med students, as it is pretty rare. Had the surgery, now have 20/20 in one eye and 20/40 in the other!! Came home after surgery on the second eye and saw.....................cobwebs....dust.....hmmm Now I have no excuses for my dusty house!!! Sigh. Haven't had to change my lens prescription for the 20/40 correction in 14 years.
Good friend had cataract surgery last year. Came home, looked in the mirror and shrieked, "IF I KNEW I HAD SO MANY WRINKLES I'D HAVE GOTTEN A FACE LIFT INSTEAD!"
That's too funny, hubby wants to do that eye surgery thing, to correct his vision, it's too costly, for now, but maybe in the future.

My husband and I both had Lasik surgery and it's been such a blessing. Yes, it costs a few bucks, but considering how much an eye exam costs, plus glasses and/or contacts, if you're expecting to wear one or the other for 10 or more years, it starts to become cost effective. Also, you then have the added bonus of being able to see when you get up each morning, which is amazing when you experience it for the first time. Yes, you'll pay the money now, but guess what, you'll get to start seeing clearly NOW, too. It's awesome. You don't have to buy extra solutions, cases or cleaners. You have nothing to misplace, lose (or drop) at an amusement park or get ruined because of unforseen events (in my case, read: children). When/if you swim or ski, no worries about seeing things clearly or having drops on your glasses. We have absolutely loved what it did for us.

I had Lasik surgery on August 13 of this year. I was a -8 prescription, and now I have 20-20 vision.
IT took me a year to save the money, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. It's the best thing I ever did for myself.
My husband had Lasik surgery on both eyes about 2 years ago. He went to Vancouver, Canada for it and even with the plane trip and hotel it was less expensive than having it done in the US. He still needs drug store glasses for reading (recommended by his doctor!) but overall is very happy with the results. Not having glasses putting pressure on his sinuses was a big relief.
One question about the eye surgeries, for I've always been interested in that. What happens when the eyes begin their natural changes as we age?
The most you'll ever likely need are reading glasses.
I think I am to the point where I am going to start needing reading glasses. Threading a needle is a real adventure anymore. :-)
The eye doctor said I can just get reading glasses at Walmart or I could have them do them.
we buy reading glasses at flea markets CHEAP. I finally have enough pairs all over the place so I can find one when I need it. They come in varying magnifications. DW had laser surgery on both eyes 3 years ago and was able to discard her coke bottle glasses for the 1st time since her youth.
