ESPN is broadcasting the Little League World Series games right from our little town. They're playing at Babe Ruth Park, which is right near us. I don't follow Little League, but it's fun seeing the wide shots of the field and recognizing the very hills we live on.

Little Leaguers sure are looking bigger than they used to!

My Dad loves these games- he is sure watching even if I'm not!

Hey thats really cool! Is Newark a big town? I remember how fun it was to watch the Superbowl this year and say my house is just over that way when they would pan out!

Newark's estimated population in 2002 was 46,444. We're the County seat, and the Licking County courthouse is within a mile or so of the baseball park. We have an Ohio State University branch here as well as Central Ohio Technical College (they share a campus). We love our town!
