The Date

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

I kinda miss having the date on my homepage. Could it be added at the other end of the bar that the time is on?

So.App.Mtns., United States(Zone 5b)

Yeah, I asked for that, too.

Crossville, TN

Of Course we need a date (a date with whom??) LOL

No...a date is nice...so I know how long I have sat here on this computer and the day changed over. Jo

LOL, JO!

I would really like the date too! Thanks!

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Now, c'mon you guys...hover your mouse over the clock in your system tray -- or whatever your Mac calls that thing, Darius -- Won't you be set for the day after one glance?

;) Kimberley

GW, yes, I can go to the system clock and toggle for the date. It's partly that I am accustomed seeing the date with the time here... and of course my eyes are much faster than my mouse hand.

Since I don't work or have any real schedule to remember, I can forget the date several times a day!

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

I have a calendar on my desk. :-)

Brenda, my desk has a calendar too... but I'd need an electric or battery one to hi-lite which of those squares is today, LOL.

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Hehehe...anybody else notice there is now a date up at the top? Near the time?

Snuck in there very nicely, eh? (I wonder who put dat there!?) ;>)

Cool! That's happened since I posted here about 6 hours ago.

Yeah! I wonder...hehehe. Jo

Thank you Dave. :)

Oops, I neglected to say "Thanks" even though I thought it.

Thanks Dave!

I already thanked you for the date, but now I have a question. Why is the font larger on the second line of tabs? I notice that when I'm a thread, that bar is a bit crowded because of the additional "Post a Reply" link.

Edited to correct just where it seems crowded, Had Forums by mistake.

Both lines run off the page for me (have to scroll over to see the whole page). Thought it was my settings though.

Spokane Valley, WA(Zone 5b)

Mystic got a date? What kinda site is this, anyway?!

(just kidding, of course)

I like the date *AND* having the time in my own timezone! *GRIN*

(editted to add an off-topic query)

Could the timezone stamp explain why I see the birthday subscribers changing on my homepage throughout the day? As in it's tied into *THEIR* timezone for the birthday?

hmmm I don't know if that is good or bad?

The birthdays are figured according to Eastern Time. So, at Midnight EST the birthday list changes.

OH DAVE! That won't work...that makes be arrive at 70 years young 3 hours before I am due to do so. LOL Jo

On the contrary, Jo, it allows you to begin celebrating your special day 3 hours early. :-)
