Independence day

On 14th of August ,Pakistanies are celeberating 57th independence day.

Independence is a cause for celebration, yes! July 4 is a big deal here in the US, with fireworks displays and parades.

Happy Independence day! Our independence day is important for us also, being so long under foreign power. Finland became independent in 1917.

Wow! I like all the lights. At the Christmas holidays here, there are lights on houses and businesses everywhere. I just love that time of year.

Your house looks nice. I bet you have a nice breeze up there on that second-floor porch. Do you have any other pictures of your house? When was it built? I like looking at architecture from around the world.

In my neighbours , house is underconstruction. Similar to my brothers house.

I can't see much of it behind the tree! Ah well. How old is your brother's house? Was it built to resemble an older style of home, like this one of your neighbor's, or is it old?

Now agin, here we have fashion to built house like old style.My brothers hose is new one he made two years before, in my neighbours they are reconstrcut their house according to new style( actually these are BC Roman style of architeture).

Do you mean that the government makes the homes be reconstructed in the old styles?

That is very common here. Where I grew up in New Mexico, they make every home comply to look like traditional Spanish or native adobe style.

In the neighborhood where I live now in California, we must get approval for the paint colors and any reconstruction because they want to make it all appear as it would have when our homes were built 100 years ago.

Before costruction of home huse map should be passed by the Government athourities, after that we can built our house, but we can paint them on our own choice.
