We can customize our home page! COOL!!!!!

Y'all GOTTA' try this!!!

I just was fiddling around in my "Preferences" page and found out you can customize your home page, putting all the boxes and things wherever you want them! AWESOME!!! You can move your watched threads over to the right hand column, "Birthdays" list right under it, your pending PDB pic list at the top of the main (left) column or at the very bottom of the whole shebang! You can even disable some of the boxes so you don't have to look at them at all if you want. Right now I've got the "Fun Picture of the Day" at the top of the right hand column and the Voting Booth under it, Birthdays next ~ I left the fave forums list and watched threads where they were since they really fit best there.

I hope this is part of the new setup ~ I'm sure going to feel silly if it's been this way for a while and I've missed it 'til now. *sheepish grin*

Wingnut, it's new - and you are among the first to find it on your own. Neat, huh?

Cool isn't it? I have my right hand side in the same order. I like having a pretty pic right there up top.

In Preferences, could it be called "Customize Homepage (or Window)" rather than "Home Tab" so that even Liloleme could have found it, pleeeze?

Edited to ask, how do we use or customize the "Custom Box"?

Ulrich, did you figure out how to customize the "custom box"? It is in the prefrences menu - choose "Custom menu" on the left.

I love this part of the new design. =)

I have the pic at the top right, and the voting bottom center, under the forums. Pending images is in the center, too.

I would like to see the same terminology used for the same item in all places to avoid confusion. I.e. either custom box or custom menu, not both.
