Wow, we have a bunch of good looking people on this website! Modest too, judging by the fact that none of us have many pics of ourselves! LOL I love this Bill, it is so nice to be able to have a face for these people that we talk to and trade with.

This picture was taken after our wedding ceremony. It was April 18, 2004 which the anniversary of our first wedding back in 1987. We liked this picture the best since it had our daughters Bridget, and Stacy in it. The dog is Russell and he is precious as well.

Thanks, ladies!

Stockton, CA(Zone 9a)

Eclipse, your a darn good lookin guy but your modest remark made me laugh out loud & get that "moms nuts" look from the kids. LOL Anyone else notice that since joining Daves they laugh more? :~) Gonna rival Disney for the happiest place on earth.
Fairyhunter, what a nice looking family & your husband does not have that "deer in the headlights" look that mine always gets when the camera comes out. Whats the secret?

To funny Kathy....just tell your kids to dunk the 'darker' cookies in milk a bit longer....they eat the same.

Nice to meet you, too, Bill! Hi Tazzy. Your place looks wonderful! It looks like you have some nice shade and a it also looks like daylilies would be right at home around your house. Have you posted any shade pictures? There is a thread started for them. What big city is Sand Springs close to?

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

TULSA,where they stop our city limits start on west side of tulsa. I live on a hill and have to have a lot of plants to keep it from washing away my front yard has three levels and its sixteen steps to top of yard then two more and two more to house .mail man just loves me , my husband works for post office or we probely woun;t even get mail . you expect this out in country ,i am only 2 blocks from down town ,our house is over 100 years old and starting to fall down around our ears but it will probeley out last us.

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Wow. I love older homes but I know the upkeep can take away time from your gardening! :-)

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

no more like life saving , if you can do the work your self not to bad , but labor but you in poor house need new roof got bad leak lowest estimate
$8000.00 have three layers that have to be removed .and new decking . so im trying to start a new trend had blue tarp on roof for 2 years maybe it will catch on and eveyone will want one

Hi, I'm Kathy and I just joined this site about a week ago. I only signed up for 2 months because I wasn't sure if this was going to be the place for me. Well, I can see now that I should have went the full blown year, I've spent much time on here looking at everyone's pictures and reading all the tips. I love it here!

Fenton, MO(Zone 5b)

Let me see if I can get the picture to go this time. LOL

Cassopolis, MI(Zone 5a)

Hi kathy and welcome!

Yes you will be eager to pay for a whole year after your two months is up!
I can just tell you are all ready hooked and believe me it only gets to be more fun!!!
The more time you spend here the more you love it!!!
If you haven't checked out the coop forum you may want to there are 3 excellent ones going on at the moment!
If you are not familiar with coops let me know and I will be glad to explain them to you.

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Welcome, Kathy! I'm sort of a newbie, too. I've been a member since February and have found my home away from home. Everyone is very helpful and glad to answer any questions, even if you think they are dumb. I have learned "there is no dumb question on Dave's Garden." Like Alice said, you should check out the coops going on right now. Just a warning, though, "You can't look just once!"
Happy Gardening,
Terrie
