Orient Express Cukes

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Here is a photo of my Orient Express burpless cukes. They are so good. Just love a sandwich using OE cukes sliced lenghtwise on whole grain bread, sprinkled with fresh ground mixed seasonings. Donna

I wish cukes did better here. Just too dry for them I guess. I am going to try some fall planting this year. Fingers crossed.

YUM!!!
I do love cukes! I like cutting them into bite size pieces along with diced tomatoes and diced onion then putting them on top of my fresh green beans.

My vines didn't do so well this year, but in the past I've had soo many I couldn't give them away!
So now I have to buy them off the fruit stand shelves. :(

Nice looking plants though....don't cha have any to share?
LOL

Frogsrus, It can't be as dry there as it is here. I live in desert area of WA. We had no rain in July and temps from 85 to above 100. I do irrigate constantly. Thankfully had a little rain yesterday and it is still cloudy so hoping for more rain today. Donna
