Nice big ears. I am the only person that likes fresh corn on cob here. I would like to sink my choppers into a ear of this.

Where did you buy the seed?

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Mary E I get the seed for Chippawa from Stokes. They have a very good variety of corn seed. I have 6 more small plantings of different corn coming along, the very last may get caught by frost, but I always stretch the season as far as I can. Donna

I've always wondered if you could let a cob dry out and use it for the next years seeds?? Or do you just have to buy the seed??
Looks good though.....with butter rolling off my elbows and all around my mouth! yumm yumm yumm

Mollybee. Yep! You can dry the cob, save the kernels for next year (and if properly stored, for years to come). The only exception is if it's a hybrid corn; if so the seed may not produce the corn you prefer.

That corn sure looks tasty to me!!! :>)

Horseshoe, you are too funny.

The corn is a hybrid so wouldn't come true. Thanks for all the kind words. Donna
