Curious -livejournal?

Tampa, FL(Zone 9b)

I've accidently found another member on here with a livejournal, which is slowly playing second fiddle to this place.. (;

Anyone else have a livejournal? Mine, of course, is Scarlete. (;

I do not promise wonderful grammar. heh.

If you ?? then you don't have one. (;

it's an online journal site. I was just curious if anyone else had one.

It sounds pretty similar to a blog. I'd like to start a blog eventually - not enough time at the present.

Yeah, pretty much a blog under another name. Good community presense though. I don't have time for it either, especially now that I'm here. But I've had one for mmm, 3 years, so it's grown on me. Mostly I read what other people are saying and make my own dork posts every once in a while. (;

I didn't get past Frank the goat. Frank

HAHA, well, it's weird and complicated right on, but it's easy enough to get used to, and unfortunately, addictive as well. (;

oh, the url is http://livejournal.com

I used Blogger for a year or two before I took the plunge and tried MovableType when my webhost installed it for me. Livejournal's okay, but I'm not a fan of their commenting system. I've never used it to set up a blog.

Looking forward to reading yours! :)

Have you seen Hello yet? It's an instant messenging program made by Picasa, and it enables easy picture sharing, plus lets you upload to Blogger posts. It looks intriguing! I downloaded it today, but have not set it up yet. http://hello.com

I like the way your moveabletype page looks! Can you lock posts in that blog? (so the general public can't see them, but some people can?) That's pretty much the only reason I stick to LJ (well, that and 4 years into it.) Most of my entries are locked unless you're added to the "trusted" list.. (they call it the friends list, lots of debate on that title..)

But.. LJ is a cesspool of drama anyway. I've seen one other person with movable type, I want to check into it for *real* journal entries. Most of my LJ stuff is fluff. (;

Thanks! I like how it looks in IE, but I'm having trouble getting it to display right in Firefox. I know it's got to be a simple tweak, but I've not put any time into figuring it out since the text works. Hmmm, I'm not sure if MT lets me set up a trusted/friends list kind of thing. I'll have to check. Either that or I might be able to do so with my website configuration in general; I can password-protect a directory on my website, but I've not tried individual files.

An excellently-done MT blog is http://dagoddess.com - you can skin it, even. Man!
