Carmela, the mother of many seedlings

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

This double produces flowers non-stop. She is the mother of many seedlings. I hope, her offspring will look as nice like she does.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

She is beautiful Monika!!

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Oh I hope she blushes too, SD! Monkia, I am sure her babies are going to be nice, otherwise my luck would have been for the bud to stay were it was instead of the ground!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Let those babies blush.......I love Carmela. I have not seen a brug you have hybridized that I didn't like.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

The flower is large and she has fuzzy leaves but not like those of Species. I hope that her offspring will 'blush' lol!

BEAUTIFUL!! Was she named for Carmela Soprano???

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Is she a mite magnet like CDW and now I find EDW and Species is also.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

and a white to finsh the line up!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

No, I have not seen spider mites on her yet.
Sherry, I have named her Carmela because her mothers name is Carmencita.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Thanks, monika!! I enjoy your names, and lots of the names. My upcoming Golden litter theme will be 'names of brugmanisa'. Only problem is that there aren't many boy names that I've seen. Maybe I can grow and name a brug Carmine to use with Carmencita and Carmela!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Carmela's first seedling. Her name is Carmen. The seedling parent is allegra2801

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Wow, Monika ... Carmen and Carmela both take away your breath! I feel 30 degrees warmer just looking at their pictures. They must love their mother very much to perform the way they do for you! Jackie

Mukwonago, WI(Zone 5a)

Oh my ..... Monika...Carmela is one very Special brug !!! Congrats to both you and to Allegra on bringing Carmen into the brug world. Carmela's offspring have been so spectacular in the past and.... just by looking at Carmen and some of the others... I would guess her genes continue to hold such promise . She's like the Energizer Bunny of brug moms..... she keeps going....and going...and going.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Okay Monika, you know I want this one really bad, but I have to have someone hit me over the head to understand these import and export rules. Is it legal to send brugmansia cuttings to Germany without a phytosanitary certificate accompanying them? Forgot to say, I would do a trade with you when you get this one going and send "our" double pinks back to you.
