Just a note here: Today's my birthday, and mine-and-DH's 25th anniversary. Life is good, but I've been completely covered up in work the past four weeks, with another two to go (teaching a summer course) so I hardly had the energy this morning to even notice the b'day or the ann'y. Know how you get in a really busy season, where you can hardly see the sun on a sunny day? That's how I've felt.

Then, three messages appeared in email - happy birthday wishes from Darius, GrannyLois, and Dea. They were so sweet and timely. You guys are wonderful, and I thought everyone else should know it!!

I have a dreadful time remembering dates of birthdays, anniversaries, etc. How fortuitous your birthday and anniversary ar the same!

Thanks, everyone! Actually, DH and I celebrated in June with a trip out West, because we knew these 5 weeks were going to be non-breathers. Thank God for taking care of my gardens with lovely weather and plenty of rain recently - I haven't been out there to do it! One more week to go, though, and then back to normal. Love you all!
