Thanks to all of you. I will be leaving tomorrow to go to Ga for the memorial services. We were up there during Frances, got to spend time with him then. Then, after we got back here, he called to see how much damage we had. The last words we spoke to each other was "I love you". Thank you all for prayers and kindness. This has been a very hard 8 weeks for all the folks in FL. We are trying to hang in there, though. There has been so many people here in St Lucie county working to restore power, clear debris.
FEMA has given us through the Corps of Engineers, our "Blue Roofs", helped give back to some their expenses for generators and fuel.We are "frazzled" but we will get better! Hope we don't have anymore hurricanes!
To all that I sent seeds, You are all very welcome! DG and all of you have helped me keep my sanity. LOL! Thanks again to all of you. Melba

Melba~
I came to this thread with the intention of getting seeds, but after reading it I have received so much more. My brother is in his 50s, and I am going to call and see how he is doing, as he called mother last week when he wasn' t feeling well. Love and prayers and thanks to everyone who supported Melba during the loss of her brother and the hurricanes. Hoorah for the American Spirit!

Melba, do you still have any datura seeds? I have hardy hibiscus, rose, pink, darkpink and whitewith red throat, also catnip, and curly willow cuttings.
Sorry it took me so long to answer. I just about lost my husband, he smashed two fingers in a roll up door and in the process of having them checked out the Dr heard a heart murmur, which lead to tests and emergency surgery. He had a bypass, a new arotic valve(metal) and they rebuilt the aorta. They said he was a walking time bomb, if he would have had a heart attack there is nothing they could have done to save him. But he is recovering nicely and the Dr says he will be back to his old self in a few weeks.

Hi, Melba --

Finally became a subscriber today! Don't know if your Datura seeds are gone yet. As a fellow Floridian, would love some of the double white datura seeds (or white or any color!). Let me know, and I'll send 49 cents.

Am getting back into gardening and it is a good thing.

Next....I need to get seeds to trade!
