Melba, I received the seeds yesterday. When you send seeds, you REALLY send seeds. You are very generous. Thank you so very much.

Thanks so much, Melba! I got my seeds today. Big fat packets of them. Thanks so much for the extras as well.

Decatur, GA(Zone 7a)

I know I asked for seeds, but with the BC and such, I won't be able to do this. Please send the seeds you were holding for me to another person. Maybe next year I will be able to plant daturas.

Love you all,

Carmen

Eglantyne,
When you get to her member page, click on the link that says:
"View the member feedback concerning GagalinFl.

Then that page will say: "Member feedback for GagalinFl"

Right under that you will see the link that says:
"Click here to add your own feedback about GagalinFl."

That's where you add your comments. HTH

To all who have sent SASE for seed. I will get them sent as soon as I can. Clean-up is ongoing, but slow in all this heat & humidity.I get teary sometimes too. Just praying for all who are in the path of Ivan! Melba

I'm really sorry Melba! I'm sure it must be devastating. Please...take your time...the trades can wait. I know I am in no hurry here.
Please be safe...and know that our prayers are with you.

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

You guys have sure had your worries this year! Sorry to hear you suffered damages, but glad you are personally ok. We're all sending our prayers your way!

Would love a few of each seed if you still have plenty - and don't laugh, but I'm especially interested in the Red Castor Beans. I do a gardening group at an Adult Day Care Center and for some reason, the group is especially partial to growing beans!!! I will be sure to give you credit for the seed donation. They are all so grateful for the gardening experience - some of them have lived in group homes all of their lives and have never seen a garden much less had one of their own!

Thank you in advance. Label and postage are on the way!

Good luck with your clean-up endeavors - I sure don't envy you the heat and humidity! (I left Florida in the late 80's and have never looked back...don't even mind the snow shoveling - yet ~:-) !

Brooksville, FL(Zone 9a)

Hi Melba - hope things are getting better for you there! Do you still have any double whites? I'll get the postage in the mail to you asap if you do. Thanks!! Onalee

San Antonio, TX(Zone 8a)

I have a question. I was sent some seed that I planted and it bloomed wonderfully, my question is, where do I harvest the seed from? is it in the spiny little pods? Haven't grown these before.

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

Yep - wait until they turn brown and they will split easily for you and be full of seeds.

Commerce, GA(Zone 8a)

onalee, have plenty.

Brooksville, FL(Zone 9a)

Melba,
I dropped the stamps in the mail yesterday - you should have them soon! Thanks, Melba! I got the single whites this year and they were beautiful - can't wait to try the doubles!

Thanks,
Onalee

I have returned all of the SASE"S that I have received as of yesterday. If I receive more, it may be a while before I can get them back to you all. My brother passed away yesterday. He would have been 55 in Oct. He was a correctional officer in Jackson, Co Ga. He worked Friday night, went to bed around noon on Sat. When my SIL tried to wake him for supper at 6 o'clock, he was dead. He was a diabetic, & had stents put in his heart several years ago.I loved him so much, he was my rock & was always there for me.His name was Charles Mabrey. He was so good to everyone! Thanks for letting me vent to you all! Melba

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

God bless!
