Why is my post always "No" (not new)

Nearly every post I have made is not marked
'New", instead marked as 'Old."

Why is this?

Because you've already seen it as the poster of the item.
It will be marked "New" until you open it if someone replied.

That's right - the "New" and "Old" has to do with whether you've seen the post, not how recent it is.
