If the Lord's willin' and the creeks don't rise, Bob and I plan to go see his children that lives in and around Los Angles,CA the week end of Aug 19th.....

I have made plans to see our dear SoCal and DH, Jerry.....can't wait!!

Fair warning given...notify the authorities that The Roadrunner will once again be RAMBLIN'. I sure hope I run into you!

Don't worry about the creeks rising in CA. It won't be raining for a few months.

Jerry and I are so excited to see Jo again and to meet Bob also. She's not bringing Tessa with her, so I don't get a puppy kiss this time.

Since she will be here for a whole day, I will be contacting several people in this area and anyone that is interested in coming over to have a nice visit with us, just let me know.

Rebel...My darling Tessa had her FIRST Birthday yesterday...lots of treats and a new toy...but only ONE telephone call to wish her "happy" Tell the DGD that she did a GREAT job...and left me free to visit! Thanks again.

Donna...I am so looking forward to seeing you and all...but I just told Bob today (while we were in the Tucson traffice) that I would probably need a couple of bottles of wine to get me through riding in the LA traffic.

When we got back to our little city of Sierra Vista today...I told Bob.."it is certainly nice to be back home where if you get lost it doesn't take over 5 minutes to find a street that you are familar with!" (Remember I rode to MAINE and back with Calalilly!) Jo

SoCal...yep! I've been on MapQuest AND MapsR Us...they give me two different routes...one through San Diego! Oh WEll....Bob is well accuainted with the freeways there. We'll make it. Jo
