Hey, thanks folks. The girls and I just got settled into our rooms (2 attached) here in Montgomery. We're staying on base tonight (so much cheaper/so much nicer) then we're staying with friends for the rest of the week. It was a wonderful birthday, filled with delightful experiences, the best of friends and laughter. I appreciate all of your comments and the zillions of emails and ecards I still need to respond to.

I am so glad that you had a wonderful birthday, Carla. I think, I hope, I wished you a happy birthday before you left. I have thought about it and gotten a bit scared that i might not have. Yes, we headed south to visit our "old" friends in Montgomery, AL where we used to live. It was a wonderful week and now we're headed back to OK. We're in West Memphis, AR at this point. Hard to believe I've been in 11 states in the past 2 months. Whew! I'm ready to stay home for awhile. Thanks for all of your kind wishes.
