Hi Sue,

Sorry to say I have not heard anything from or about Kristi, hope and pray she and her family are fine, as she does live in the area that was hardest hit.

We had some incredible amounts of rain here, but the flooding was not in my immediate area.

Will be watching for word that all is well.

That sounds like a real disaster. I hope everyone there is ok and that the property losses are minimal but it sure doesn't sound good.

I heard on BGI that Kristi (datdog) is in KY, but no news on the state of her home in NJ. Let's keep her in our thoughts and prayers.

Sounds like Kristi's house was okay, as it is on a slight incline!

I just got an e-mail from Kristi and John is correct she is out of town but DH is home!! Here is the e-mail!!!!!

Hello Sue,

Thank you so much for your concern. I'm out of town visiting my mom. My husband was home during the storm. Thankfully, we didn't get any water in the house. The new roof leaked a little and my husbands car got hit by another car (and the guy took off grrrrrrrr) The yard was underwater- maybe the voles all died **YEAH*** That is about it.

The damage to our township is just mind boggling. Hundreds of people have flood damage. Many have lost everything. Several of our neighbors flooded. My husband spent all day yesterday helping rip carpet up. One neighbor had thier whole basement underwater. They also had a sewage line back up- need I say more?

Once again, thank you so much for your concern. Keep your fingers crossed that we don't get anymore rain.

((hugs))
Kristi

Thanks John and Sue. I was wondering about Kristi since I saw the paper this morning. There was a photo with two firemen in a boat rescuing people in Burlington County.

I can't believe all this rain. Hope the weather reports are wrong and we don't have more rain through Sunday.
