What about this Dave? Give our loved ones a permanent place in Cyber Heaven?
We can post a poem and some pictures in honor of them?

Dearly Beloved, we gather here to get away from pesky gardening-related subjects in order to . . . ?

Sugars husband, Greenwood passed this week

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Yeah- :(
Sorry, guess it was a bad idea.

Crossville, TN

No...It was a good idea. Some just didn't know how serious this was.

When my husband died on Dec. 21, 2001....the Prayer Forum was formed by Dave....since so many of the good people here in The Garden was sending me love and Prayers through this site....Dave emailed me and said all the posts had been moved to the new Prayer Forum. I don't think I would have dealt with it as well as I did if it hadn't of been for the outpouring of love and Prayers I received from this site.....and I had only been here for about 3 months...

Dave....I think a Memorial Forum would be great...we could place a memory of my DH, Carl, Tink, Greenwood.....and many many other of our loved ones there.

Thank you for suggesting it, Crimsonstavo.

Jo

No thanks needed. (((((((hugs))))))))

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

I think it's a sweet idea. If not a forum, maybe a page in "extras"?

Birmingham, AL(Zone 8a)

Didn't mean to be mean ((((rr))))) - its just that ragging crim has become second nature, and the way some people are about their brugs, daylilies, sub in your own genera - I thought there was a chance she really did mean it comically.

Seriously, I go the the prayer forum all the time and have found it very helpful in time of need. Actually, those of use who are new to DG could prob benefit from knowing a bit about the great gardeners we can't meet in person (at least not for a while). So three cheers for crimsontavo!

Apologies are in order for my stupid remarks, crims. Forgot to put brain in gear before typing.

Crossville, TN

No apologies needed!! Ya'll just didn't know about Sugar-Fl's loss. So.....don't you think a Memorial Forum would be nice? We have lost a lot of our "family" on here. Jo

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Nah- it's okay. :-) Ive lost my brain at times too. ;-)

Birmingham, AL(Zone 8a)

Did you ever find it again? ;-)

If so that means there's hope for me....

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

I think it's a great idea - a wonderful way for us newbies to hear about past members we weren't fortunate enough to meet.

Manhattan Beach, CA(Zone 11)
