watching threads

cant seem to be able to watch the threads that i have clicked how do i do that

Have you actually clicked on the 'watch this thread' icon? A page will pop up that says you are watching this thread. When you go to the home page....click 'home'...all of the threads that have had a response to them that you have not seen yet will be at the top of the Home Page. The Dave's Garden logo in the right hand corner is also a link to the home page.

To expand a bit on Melody's answer, keep in mind that a watched thread will only show up at the top of your homepage if there's been a new post (other than yours) since you last viewed it.

If you want to see all the threads you're watching, there's a link on your own member page. For some of us who watch a thousand-plus threads, it wouldn't be a good idea if they all were permanently displayed at the top of our homepage - just keeping up with those with a new reply is aplenty!
