PDB Switch to Live View "Issue"

Dave, the "Switch to Live View" option in PDB makes updating options on larger amounts of plant entries more complicated since it has to be clicked for each plant again to change/add to the options. Would it be possible to have it globally switched on/off?
Even better would be a multiple plant batch edit function for options but I guess I'm dreaming again LOL) (Über tools, remember? :)
