leaving for Destin tomorrow

Hi All,

We're headed to Destin Florida tomorrow real early. Won't be back until Monday next week. I asked hubby if he was going to take me to the nurseries, he mentioned saturday taking me around to the nurseries. But not while he had the travel trailer on the back of the truck . Sooooo, untill we find a trailer park to park it, i'm going to have to grit my teeth LOL. I can handle that I guess.

have fun here while i'm gone

Kathy, have a wonderful trip..
If not the trailer, how about a car carrier for those shopping neccesities!!!!!!!?

Welcome!!!!! The weather is great. Right now it is 94 degrees here and very humid. The sun is shining and only a few clouds in the sky. We are headed across the bridge shortly to go to the movies (Rave theater at Destin Commons) which is about 5 miles away. Traffic in Destin is pretty busy so we have to leave a little early. When you get here, stay away from the nursery in Destin that specializes in Palms. They cater to the tourists and part time residents. Their prices are rediculous. Hit some of the nurseries in Pensacola. There is also a place in Milton which specializes in brugmansia. I believe the owners are also members of this board. If you call ahead, you can stop by. There is also a nursery in Pensacola called Daves Greenery which has snowbank brugmansia if you are interested in that. Also check out the two in Crestview.

You will have a great time! I am about an hour from there and would love to meet you but I am leaving for Nashville in the morning and will not be back until Satuday night.
Have you been to Destin before?

WEll, thanks all , we use to live in fort walton beach about l4 years ago, have'n't been down there yet.

hubby is taking me nursery shopping saturday, I Hope to hit a couple of them in pensecola, though he won't look all over the place for nurseries, LOL so if we run across one, that's when he'll stop for sure, unless Iknow where some are, Thanks Rlaff for the help with the nurseries.
