Heavy rains near Dave's location.

Lindale, TX(Zone 8a)

As you all probably know, we have been having storms and torrential rains in Texas the entire month of June. We had torrential rains this afternoon in East Texas again. I heard on the news that there was over 9 inches of rain last night Northwest of San Antonio. They were picking people out of trees with helicopters. I don't know how far NW of San Antonio but that's getting awful close to Dave's home town. Hope that you are high and dry Dave.

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

Yikes, I hope they are doing okay.

All this rain is really getting awful isn't it...this has been our 3rd wettest June since 1895. Everything here is saturated.

Wynantskill, NY(Zone 5a)

Same here in TN- we are drowning!!! It rains every day and water is standing everywhere. Weeds look like trees!!! I hope Dave is safe and dry somewhere. Stay dry, Dave!

Hughesville, MO(Zone 5a)

I pray they are ok. I'm sure some regions of Kansas would love some of that moisture. Lets all pray GOD will move the rains up there. Not all of Kansas, mind you, just the dry part. It is being likened to the Dust Bowl Days of the '30s.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

We've had MORE than enough rain up the road from LGW728, here in the 'boro ;o) I won't complain (too much), but I'd have to say we're sure not begging for precipitation!!!

San Antonio, TX(Zone 8a)

After talking with my daughter in San Antonio tonight, I think that the worst is over for a few days aleast. She said that her back yard looked like a little pond for awhile.

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Down here on the Gulfcoast we have had enough rain already! It has cooled it off, but boy is it going to be hot and muggy when it stops. The skitters are really beginning to bite and hatch out like crazy!
