Poppysue's daylilies seedlings

Mount Angel, OR(Zone 8a)

I just wanted to especially give Poppysue a big pat on the back and hug. If you visit the daylily forum you will see several of us who are posting pictures of seedlings that the seed was given to us by Poppysue. It is like Christmas to see the new ones open each day and all because she was so willing to share her seed from her hybridizing efforts. Thanks a million Poppysue, you are certainly a wonderful example of the great spirit of generosity here at Dave's. Hip hip hooray for Poppysue.

While I didn't get any seeds I will join in the HOORAH'S for the wonderful lobster she cooked for us when Calalily, Carol and I visited her!! That was a treat too. Jo

LOL ... *Blush*. I'm delighted to see everyone's babies... I never would be able to grow out all the seeds myself. The next best thing is to share them with my DG friends cuz I get to see the pictures! It is alot of fun to grow out the seeds. It takes a special effort and a two year wait for flowers but when they start opening it's so much fun to see how they turn out! When I get home from work in the morning I have to take a stroll through the garden to what's new before I even go in thr house. It drives the pets crazy! They don't like waiting for their breakfast.

Yup, Jo has even made it up to Maine :o) I've never seen anyone get around as much as our beloved Rooadrunner. I'm surprised we didn't see you in Christina's photos in Chile... or Monika's in Germany!

Well, Poppysue, my hubby and I hope someday to visit the Northeast like your Maine and Vermont; so who knows?
