DG Business Cards

Hi, Dave

I know we've talked before about passing out cards to let people know about Dave's Garden, and I've been meaning to make up something in the way of cards I can give my customers when they come to buy plants at my little nursery business. Many of the questions they ask and the information they need is readily available on your websites. I have been writing the web address on the back of our business cards or even writing it on the backs of plant tags! LOL! I decided to make up some cards, so I wanted to see if these look OK to you before I print up more... any suggestions?

Looks great, Weezin! I like it a lot. With my blessing, print up and distribute and have fun! :-) Maybe add a note to "tell 'em Weezin sent you" :)

Sounds good to me. We'll see if I can get a few more Alaskan subscribers. I usually recommend they look around the PDB and see some of the pictures I've submitted from Seward. Gardening seems to be on the upswing around here, and some of these folks can use all the gardening tips they can get! I should have been offering cards a long time ago. Eventually, I'd like to set up a little website that can link to plants on the PDB so I don't have to do so much explaining about certain plants.... ah, well... someday!

I tell so many people about DG and the PDB, thats a great idea. Ill have to think hard about doing that myself.

I've been really compelled lately to write notes to random people whose gardens I admire around town to invite them to Dave's... I have yet to find the time...but I plan to! Thats a great idea Weezingreens!!

my girls laugh at me because i tell so many people about daves. i like the card and will probably make up soe myself.

Dave: This is a good idea about letting people know there is A place like Dave's garden club,About 3 weeks ago I brought this up on a forum because their are thousands of people that buy plants every year at greenhouses or Wal-mart, Home Depot, Lowe's & even the local garden clubs don't have any idea there is A place like Dave's.

That's A nice looking card Weezin has & if enough of us would make up A sign for everyone to see at these places we Buy plants at we would also gain new members at our Roundups & the garden places would sell more plants, I know because when I joined I had only roses & hardy hibiscus & now after I went to the roundup I don't have much grass left because of the plants I brought back & what I bought going back to Wal-Mart to get.

Let's everyone Try to get new members & scare Dave with the new business.
