To whomever might know why some of the threads have the plant's names linked to the PDB and others do not:
How come?

The ones that don't have links are older ones that where added before Dave started the PDB picture forum.

The evolution shows our learning curve:

When we began the PDB, there were no pictures.

When we first allowed images, there were no accompanying discussion threads, so people were more likely to add their image to the photo forum than the PDB.

Dave then had the idea of adding an automatic thread with each image submitted to motivate people to add to the PDB. But the very oldest PDB forum threads don't have a link back to the plant's entry.

Up until about a year ago threads have a distinct "hyperlink" after the plant's name.

Starting nearly a year ago, the link became embedded in the plant's name.
