I'm afraid it is also something some browsers do. It is supposed to be "helpful." It is also added when certain browser plugins are added.

Like it said, "It's installed with a number of consumer software packages". Some ISP's install their branded versions of IE and those bundles include this kind of junk. When we used dial-up ISP's we quit installing any of their junk. You don't need any of it. All you need is the number to dial, your username, password, and server information.
I just ran spybot and all the "email:fikki" ones are still hyperlinked. I also have Ad-awarethat fights with spybot. Is "fikki" related?

Cookies put your computer's name plus part of the domain the cookie is from. They don't harvest your e-mail when you visit websites unless you enter it manually. Rest safe! :)
