Hammock time!

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

We ordered one of these last week and received it within three days. It's nice, really nice quality. Our trees are not far enough apart for it, but we can sink a post for one end. Thought some of you fellow weary gardeners might like to see this. Picture yourself on it, with a nice glass of lemonade, ice tea, or blue soda...

What a deal. :)

Great.. We used to have one but it rotten it 2 years later. It was very relaxing and we fall asleep in it.

Make sure you take it down and bring it inside daily so it won't fade and rotten.

I need to pick up some waterproofing spray for it - you just reminded me. I doubt we'll bring it in daily (not many places to put it in our little house), but we'll probably cover it with a tarp when we don't have company and we're not using it.

My DH has always used this phrase: "I'd like to be a wine tester in a hammock factory."

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

I have a friend who goes to nicaragra every year on mission trips, She brought me back a home made hammock for me baby sitting her dogs. She watched the guy make it, it is real colorful and very nice. My Dh hung it to where we can take it in and out everytime we use it. It's a pain inthe but to do that, but it will not rot from the rain, she only paid 20.00 for it. And it can fit 2 people. I was thrilled when she gave it to me
